A clash day is a day when the zodiac ruling the day opposes your own zodiac. In Chinese astrology each day is governed by one earthly branch (a zodiac animal); the animal sitting directly across the 12-branch circle is called the clash(冲, “collision”). People of that zodiac are advised to be more careful that day. Today's clash zodiac is: Dragon 🐉. This is a cultural guide, not a certain prediction.
Festival dates are computed from Chinese lunar calendar conversion (Hong Kong Observatory table), except Qingming & Dongzhi which are solar-term based. Chinese New Year 2026 falls on 17 February (the Fire Horse year, Bing Wu).

This planner used to rank days 0-100 and crown a top 5. That ranking has been withdrawn. In Primbon, whether a day suits you is worked out relative to your own birth weton, by adding your birth neptu to the candidate day's neptu, not from how large the day's neptu happens to be on its own. This tool never asks for your birth date, so no Primbon reading can honestly be computed here.
The Jian Chu day officer below is a real system from the Chinese almanac (Tong Shu), and it does apply to the day itself. But it works per activity, not as a single grade: Cheng suits completing and launching, while Po suits demolition. So the table lists what each day is said to suit and to avoid, and leaves the judgement to you.

The daily score is computed from a mix of: the day's Chinese branch (12 animals), the ruling Wu Xing element (Metal/Water/Wood/Fire/Earth), the position within the 24 solar terms, and the quality of the lunar day in the classic Tong Shu calendar.
Each day is ruled by one earthly branch (a zodiac). The zodiac directly across the 12-branch circle (180 degrees) is the clash, the collision. For example, an Ox day clashes with Goat. People of the clashing zodiac are advised to take extra care that day.
The day is split into 12 shichen (Zi 23:00-01:00 … Hai 21:00-23:00). Each period is judged from the relationship of the hour branch vs the day branch: Liu He (六合) or San He (三合) harmony = good, a clash (冲) = bad, the rest neutral.
The hanzi in the cell corner = the lunar date (anchored to the Lunar New Year, not the Gregorian). 初一 = day 1, 十一 = day 11, 廿一 = day 21. Full-moon days (十五) and new-moon days (初一) carry special meaning.
A small icon in the cell marks a festival: Chinese New Year (正月初一), Cap Go Meh, Peh Cun, the Mooncake Festival, plus solar-term-based Qingming & Dongzhi. A violet-tinted cell = Ghost Month (the 7th lunar month).
Based on the Tong Shu (黃曆 Huangli), a classic day-selection guide from the 7th century onward. Activities like weddings, starting a business, or moving house are set by the interaction of the 60-pillar Jiazi. Not a deterministic prediction, but a guide for consideration.
Day Pillar (日柱): the heart of this calculation. Each day has one combination of a Heavenly Stem + Earthly Branch from the 60-day sexagenary cycle (Jiazi / 甲子). We compute it via the Julian Day Number, the same astronomy formula used by verified BaZi calculators, not a rough table, so today's pillar is accurate to the exact date (cross-check: 10 Jun 2026 = Ding Chou / 丁丑).
The 12 Jian Chu Officers (建除十二神): 12 daily “officers” (Jian/Chu/Man/Ping…) from the Tong Shu / Imperial almanac tradition that set which activities suit a day and which to avoid. This is the basis of the luck score and the “good for” column.
Clash (冲): earthly-branch opposition. Branches 6 positions apart (180 degrees on the 12-branch circle) “collide”. The six standard pairs: Rat↔Horse, Ox↔Goat, Tiger↔Monkey, Rabbit↔Rooster, Dragon↔Dog, Snake↔Pig. Today's clash zodiac is the one opposite the day's ruling branch.
Lucky Hours / Shichen (时辰): the day is split into 12 two-hour periods. Each hour is judged from its branch relationship to the day branch: six-harmony (Liu He 六合) and trine (San He 三合) count as good, a clash (冲) as bad, the rest neutral, the same branch-relationship method used in the personal calendar tool.
Festivals & Ghost Month: the dates of Chinese New Year, Cap Go Meh, Peh Cun, Zhongyuan and the Mooncake Festival are computed from lunar-date conversion; Qingming & Dongzhi from solar terms. Ghost Month = the 7th lunar month. Verified against the official anchor: Chinese New Year 2026 = 17 February (the Fire Horse year, Bing Wu).
Lunar Calendar: uses the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) bitmask table for Gregorian to Chinese-lunar conversion. Accurate for the 1900 to 2100 range.
24 Solar Terms (節氣 Jie Qi): 15-day periods based on solar longitude (multiples of 15 degrees). For example Lichun (立春) around 4 February, Qingming (清明) around 5 April. They influence the dominant seasonal element.
Wu Xing (五行) 5 Elements: Metal · Water · Wood · Fire · Earth. They generate (相生) and control (相克) one another. The day element + birth element set personal luck.
